If the rumors as stated on the main thread are true, and, perhaps, contrary to other companies in other situations,I see VVUS' cost cutting as being something they have to do for one of two things: 1)they are running out of money or 2) they can't sell their product. Otherwise, to me, and perhaps only to me, it makes no sense. Also, their lease I read they just entered into, I believe this requires borrowing of funds. If they are so "cash rich" as some would say, why this type of transaction?

bigk Re Shorts and price drop

Bigk, I couldn't agree with you any more and I voiced a similar message before. Shorts aren't the problem.
However, many of the longs won't acknolwedge anything other and when, and if, vvus ultimately fails, of course, it will be shorts who did it.
