David, Poking my head up from lurkdom to remind you, "No good deed goes unpunished." #reply-3724634

I am constantly amazed at peoples' reluctance to accept responsibility for their own decisions.

Someone owns a stock for over five months, is asleep at the wheel on earnings day and blows the trade, and this somehow constitutes an actionable offense on your part???

Say it with me ... Please!
[inside joke for Ally McBeal fans. <g>]

As difficult as it might be. Just ignore the offensive posts.

David,

I think people fail to realize what the mission or purpose of "Silicon Investor" is. It's a forum to exchange ideas about individual investments, strategies, recommendations, etc. As an investor I use SI as a sounding board or a reference point in my DD. I don't solely base my investment decisions on the recommendations of individual posters or on hype. If I win or lose, I have no one to blame but myself. It's as simple as that!

I appreciate the DD and information you've posted regarding a number of stocks. I've use that information in addition to my own DD to make individual investment decisions.

Note: From the SI Terms of Use

You should make an independent investigation before making any major financial decisions, and if you rely on information posted by other members you do so solely at your own risk.
