Virgil: No Amazon stock to sell short and puts are to steep. What are your thoughts on the risk of writing naked Oct 110 calls for around 11 1/2 premium? Gives upside protection of around $17.00 in a down market!

Hello Mr. VanCleave:
Thank you for the explanation. Even spelled out in black and white by you and using my best crayon to color the chart carefully (I think I drew a 'Nessie'), the head and shoulders remain obscure to me. I think I just qualified myself as totally TA inept.... I am glad others see these things -- gives me food for thought I would otherwise miss.
