Laser, thanks for your reply. I appreciate your insight. <<I'm looking for a bottom of a nickel, based on nothing but a hunch. What are your thoughts on that?>> Anything is possible, it was a nickel before, but I doubt we will see it for lots of reasons. I think we should be $3 just based on minimal "metal in the ground". There has been considerable progress in Maxam since it was last in the $0.10 range. As you point out, Runyon's activity with Maxam is a labor of love, not hype and stock price. The company's holdings are much larger than before, their technology has dramatically improved, and they are much closer to success than ever before IMO. Stock price is a relative thing. I bought AMES at $1 and U at $4 and a number of others cheap. Nobody wanted them, thus the low stock price. Today everyone can't buy enough at the higher prices. Most of my market experience has me too far ahead of the curve, the crowd, a forward thinker. It takes a while before one understands that it's not what they think that sets a stock price, but what the majority of others do. While I seem to be ahead of the crowd again on Maxam, it's just an issue of time. Congratulations on your profit.
