Michael, I would like to see the tax on all tobacco and alcohol products raised so that they are almost prohibitive. It is not important to me that the government profit in a general sense from these taxes--I think they should all go into public health education and treatment.

I think that taxes on gasoline and automobiles should also be many times higher. I would want all of these revenues to go into building public transportation and building things like safe, protected bicycle lanes.

I think that junk food and foods containing sugar should also be taxed. American eating habits are just horrible. We are killing ourselves with food. Oh, and a five hundred percent tax on televisions would be good.

I think I might have forgotten some important new tax ideas. I'll let you know if I remember some more social engineering concepts like the ones I have shared with you.
