Yes I know what you mean. The problem is I am out of cash at this time to average down even more ! As for they doing it to the extreme on both sides you are absolutely correct. in addition to LSI another perfect example is VLSI (has a book value of $12 and is selling at $10/shr)!

Looks like this forecast (regretably) turned out to be close. It should hold at this level barring a further decline in the overall market. If the market continues to melt, we may approach approximate book value of $11.50....but this would be a shocker, and I would not expect to see this. For the last 5 years before this sell off hit, LSI did not sell below about 1.6x book value...It is now at about 1.1x, which is surprising, to say the least. At these levels, one has to believe that there is more upside than downside.
