Hi Robert. My strategy is locked and implemented.
There is no turning back for me now. Sometime between
1999 and 2002 I hope to harvest. Until TI stock gets
back to approximately the 70 level (do not know when)
I plan on continuing with my dollar cost average approach.
I want to a lot of TI amassed for the next upturn and then
practice market timing at near peak by selling 3/4 of holdings and diversify. I hold two other stocks that are in the tank. This
was my token attempt at diversification--who knows, one or
both of these may come roaring back someday, but overall impact
compared to TXN holdings will pale.

The reasons I've not been posting much lately are:

1) Too busy reading everybody else's posts with little to add.
2) Since I'm a tech sales professional I have a long
reading list that keeps me very busy--yes working hard
to survive the down turn to answer you question.
3) Per above strategy update, my current strategy permits zero
room for movement.

Stay in touch. I'm here. You've got my home e-mail--send me
your work number some day and I'll call you.
