Skipper (from Nancy), After the release of the Jews from the Concentration Camps the people in Europe were not happy to see them and would burn their homes etc.. saying we were supposed to have gotten rid of you. They realized that Jewish children would never be safe unless they had a home. So they left, most without any family to a world that was silent in their eyes to the masacre that had just taken place. They were rejected in most countries (after they had filled up with the number they could accept) and in the minds of the Jews they needed a home and Eretz Israel was the only home they had ever had. So that began a devastating journey to Israel. They were treated horribly by the British beyond anything anyone can imagine and left on their boats to starve to death. Well the United Nations finally agreed that they deserved to have a home and voted for them to have some land out of a very large area of land. There is plenty of land but the Arabs just refuse to accept their right to exist and even CLinton has rebuked them for that attitude as blocking peace. Some Palestinian friends I have told me the Jews treated them better there than the their own people that only live to get the Jews out of there for they are desecrating their land. After they started to move in bombings and shootings started from the Palestinian and Arab neighbors that did not agree that they deserved to live there. The war was started by them and they lost. Anyone that can judge the Jews should go through mass murder of their families and be denied the right to exist by most of the world and then shot at after all this and see what they would do. Remember the Holocaust was a finaly of many severely violent acts against the Jews by Christians. Many of the people survived the Concentration Camps only with the hope of going to Israel and escaping living among people who could do such horrible things. Violence is never right but that also applies to the Palestinians and Arabs as well. My friends that live there say they steal their cars all the time and throw large rocks at their homes and children, and that too is not justified. Would the American government and Police allow people to do this here? According to the logic being used with Israel we should allow the American Indians to do bombings on buses with children throw rocks at us etc.. because what we did to them was worse than what the Jews did to gain land for their families, at least they went through the UN first and attempted to do it peacefully. Should our enforcement of peace with Police with guns be plastered all over the news in other Countries as being oppressive or are they keeping peace? I know how strongly people are against Israel so I do not expect you to agree or understand but you asked for an answer and this is mine and it comes from people who live there now and people who went through Auschwitz to Israel not just from reporters opinions.
