Gabriela............ Not only will this take time , but it will force a radical change to the way of life for all middle class americans, or whats left of them, for the necessary acceptance and active participation in a Global World Economy will force the existing standard of living for most Americans and Europeans to new lows...when the American work force labor rate is $4.00 or less/hour avg across the board, and the standard of living is about 1930 Appalatchia, then the Billionaire forces behind the new Global World Economy will be satisified.........get it while you can folks.....time is running out.........your statement "there is no place to hide because the real world economy is damaged and will require an adjustment to the new level of global demand".........well just what is the new or future level of global demand and how will it effect the average middle class american.....??? how shall we deal with a billion Indian workers entering the global work force or a billion and a quarter workers coming on line in China...all happy to work for a couple of bucks a day or a free meal or a free communal shelter. What is "The new global demand"...??? demand for what...??? who will be buying....?????.... all the american jobs are moving offshore at record levels, new auto plants are opening up all over the world (mostly third world countries to take advantage of their wage structures or lack of) and our Goverment does nothing to protect the American worker or our Standard of living. The American economy is presently holding up the free world...Europe included.....We are the demand ....and when it dries up from lack of moola to perpetuate it .... it will all come down ..fast and hard... The real answers to these questions are too radical for a discussion here but I suspect that a few here can figure it out.........
