Ron:

>>Bernie, the last mile connection is one of the missing pieces to the "Next" puzzle. LMDS is the answer, but the question is;Does Nextband own enough of the right spectrum to provide national coverage? My uneducated WAG is no.

That's why, in my opinion, Nextel/Nextlink needs an aquisition or strategic alliance with a Winstar, Telegint, or WNP.>>

Check out InterjetNet. They might be a great, willing partner. I know the principals. They have wireless cable spectrum all across the country. Former head was with the FCC. McCaw probably knows him. Great bunch of people. They are growing fast and have that "last mile" thing down, period.

I will call them Monday to check.

Feel free anyone to contact me with interest and any detaills.

Ron: The last mile issue is something I haven't thought about since I owned Amati. Again, I'll need to review my notes. Short term memory loss is a b#%@^. <VBG>

Should be an interesting day at the market. Hope there is no (unjustified) panic. None of my limit bids took on Friday, so I'm watching everything carefully.
