Most recent news on JCI. They are now entering the Japanese markets very strongly which will give them a good foothold for when the rebound in the Japanese economy occurs. They are not heavily dependent on Asian economy for present revenues.

This is about as consistent as a stock as you will find, averaging 18% a year over the last five years with about a 2% dividend.

I've been in their DRIP for the past 7 years and I can say its been my best investment. Buy directly from the company with no commission, low $50 initial and subsequent investment.

I originally got in it because I wanted to own a state stock. Glad I did. Frank, if your profile is up to date, you are from the UW-Madison campus, subplanted in Broncoland.
