Yesss, Craig, there is a Santa Dell! Someone will buy puts for the prices indicated
by CBOE on their chart. I usually ask for more and see if there are takers.
Someone will actually pay $36.50 for the Jan 2001 Dell 120 put.

Unbelievable....
what was the saying, a fool and his money are soon parted.

WOW

Don, I'm trying to evaluate the cost/benefit differences between buying DELL LEAP calls and selling puts. I'm quite happy with the gains from my '99 & '00 LEAPS. However, I'm curious as to the potential gains from selling puts for monthly cash flow even though cash must be tied up as required margin with the brokerage firm. In your opinion, which would give a better return on investment:
(a) sell puts (or put spreads) on Dell and keep 20-30% cash available as required by brokerage firm or,
(b) invest that 20-30% cash in Dell LEAPS or calls

Thanks & congratulations on your Dell gains!
