Once again Sire, I thank you for your reply!

I have downloaded a fresh copy of Netscape and loaded. All works
well but I now have no bookmarks.... I copied my old bookmark over
the new (empty) one as I have years (hundreds of bookmarks) that
I would just die if I lost.

Guess what?! Same problem. Is there a way to transfer the content
of the bookmarks to a fresh empty bookmark file? I tried to copy and past and no go.

I must admit it is the file at fault, but how to fix?

Thanks in advance!

Brett,

Sounds like your bookmark file is corrupt. Try downloading smartmarks or navex and running it through the conversion to IE and back. I bet if you remove the corrupt entries all will be well. Email it to me and I can probably fix easily.
