No my dear, I did not. Implementing supply chaining is desirable, but will have a negligible effect on the overall cost structure for Cisco. Hence other than any marketing hype (which may emphasize cost savings) that can be milked out of it, for relatively low volume sellers (and where inventory is not that much of an issue) supply chaining is neutral. (BTW Chambers had this vision a LONG TIME ago, and I wouldn't be surprised if it were being implemented at Cisco)

This is also one of the reasons why Cisco does not get that much credit for its direct sales over the "net" while DELL does.

Now go away and stop pushing your "supply chaining" where it belongs on the dell thread.
