spent most of the weekend taking care of grandkids (did I tell you all our new 7 week old grandaughter is the cutest, brightest,--est,-est,-est?) and helping daughter #2 move (my lower back is now telling me that I'm far to old to be the one on the bottom end of the dolly with the refridgerator)

but also spent some time surfing a lot of the views on the market
I have not seen this amount of consistent bearishness for a long time
the flag seems to be being raised that the time to start dipping the toe in the long waters may come soon but I'm also scared Xless that the first rally may be a big head fake and there will be a ton of selling into that rally

capital preservation seems to continue to be key right now
I think a lot of folks on either the long or the short side might get burned with the swings I am expecting

my day trades last week turned out light green as there were some wild swings that could turn a profit if you got in and out real fast

my hold account is sucking wind, primarily because I broke my stop rule on a few stocks that I thought I knew and loved; lesson relearned for the nth time

as they used to say on that old cop show (forget which one)
"You be careful out there"
