Hi Cube,
Your advice is very sound and when I finally dig out of this
I intend to take your advice. If I understand correctly, this is Investor's Business Daily's Strategy and who am I to argue with success.
Everything you said is indeed very constructive and believe it or not
I do have some TA...one would not believe it in this case.

Bottom line, why should one "gamble" on small companies with good potential when it is a Hell of alot safer and probably more profitable investing in leaders in their sector.

Your point is well taken in reference to waiting to buy stocks until
they breakout to new highs as they tend to trend higher more often than not. The book "Technical Analysis of Stock Trends by Edwards and Magee is a must read. I know, it's hard to believe that I read this book and still did not bail and that I opted to average down!

Other than being plain out stupid when I should know better, in my case, I did too much homework on the company, if it is possible, and when I visited the company, I became too excited and comfortable that
this company would excel. It probably will, but the stock has been
a different story.

Thanks for your post as it reminded me that maybe I should reread the book mentioned above and stick to what it tells me and leave my emotions out of this.

Best Wishes and continued success to you,

John

I don't know about all of you but I am tired of hearing myself talk
about this. I have a lot to learn about this business and in the past have come here and have learned much from some folks willing to share their knowledge.
