First, while I was out at cape, Jack you are right, Ed you are right, and Mr Parker ( nuther-Jack ) yes this camera is a neat machine...telling folks about it since the loan from one of my group members who discovered it first - so I must tell you this was not the Telephoto Model but take a read on what a friend whom just bot one wrote:
<<..Thought I would let you know that I did some checking on the camera you
told me about. The disk camera Sony Mavica. I checked the prices on the
net and the prices in the store. Then I went to the local store XXX's
and told them I could get a free case and cleaning kit for camera if I
purchased over the net for $679.00. I was told if I bought it from them
I could have it for $599.00 plus tax ($649.00) and they would throw in a
free case and tripod. I am now the proud owner of the Sony Mavica FD7.
The one I got is the one with the zoom, the other Mavica camera was
$499.00 but it has no zoom, also mine has picture effects and different
modes. I was wondering which one you had used for your pics. The other
thing I wanted to let you know is I tried your glossy paper with the
pictures I took and they came out real good. Well I have the camera for
a 30 day trial, so I can take it back if I decide I don't like it but I
don't see that happening. We are going XXXing in N.H. this week so I
will be trying it up there and then decide. Well I'll let you go for now
but keep in touch.
Love to all,..>>

( Yes, that is me having a pix taken of me by the guy who lent me a Camera -so all you could see...The Hassey Ore Pile! ( Part of Front anyway!) Best to all, him Mike McKay- you got to meet this guy, with the Camera ( not the guy whose Arizona Started Beard Almost...Brokeit!!! !)
