Truly offensive posters shouldn't appear on ANYONE'S screen.

Most people want an Ignore button so that they can avoid contact with those whose opinions are at variance with their own. I feel that SI threads are about discussion, not about investors telling each other that their stock's going to the moon, and attacking or ignoring anyone who might feel otherwise.

I fail to see what an ignore button has to do with threatening Emails being hurled around by some psychotic half-baked potato head. Perhaps you could explain the reasoning behind your contention. Are you suggesting that the psychotic half baked potato heads wouldn't send Janice these ignorant messages if they had an Ignore button.
