Very Very Close To a Buy--Reflection on Past Comment Sold out of VLSI 6/98 at around $15 1/2--reason was I remembered the chip stock demise in 1990--selling everyday, lower and lower--pain would never stop--sound familiar! Well this post is certainly not to gloat--for I have lost $ in some other positions, but for VLSI, I think we are close to the bottom, or at it! So I am starting to scale back in( although I have held on to 100 shares).I have traded semi stocks since the early 80"s. Here is my post from 6/98 To: Edward J. Neitz Jr. (3499 ) From: Edward J. Have seen this type of activity with VLSI,LSI before--in the early 90's, and know it can get ugly--fall much further than anyone ever expects. We do hope to get back in again at sometime.
