This doesn't look like the ridiculously inefficient program or centralized, Soviet style pricing model you describe at all, it looks like the most efficient way to meet the needs of large enterprise customers. I wish Dell the best of luck going against CPQ in this space but I think they will need a lot more than they have to stay in that part of the game. Shhh. Let the Dellheads believe what they want to. I personally would like to see Compaq start kicking some major Dell ass. Yet as long as CPQ stock goes up...that's really the only that concerns me.
