Tony, Now is the time for clever day trading on everything in stock as we are entering turbulent times.
I am not as negative about Intel as all that. Paul brings it out.
I have no doubt that intel is in a real fight for it's life, in the long run, as share keeps gettin nibbled away, it never seems to get nibbled back. In addition the ASP keeps falling. That the total market grows faster than Intel is getting nibbled compensates for this and keeps the profits healthy, but of late has not been enough to compensate for the ASP drop, as recent earnings and predicted earnings indicate.
Still Intel should fight now, better that waiting until it is at 3% like Apple. the fight makes the prices fall and no matter what Intel does AMD/Cyrix etc ship more chips each year.

Bill

Tony,
Dear friend, you sure know how to hurt a guy. Yes, I probably bought IDTI a few years back for 50 or higher.

The 10 fold decrease in value has helped me attain my undisputed status as the 'humblest' member of the Intel thread,
humble carl
