Zoltan, Let me parse it for YOU...I did not mean to imply that the election was 'first' invented by our founding fathers and you darn well know it. Besides, you don't even understand what I am taking opposition to in the first place. If you can for a moment stop reacting and simply read carefully... My point is that the founding fathers never intended for us to bear arms in order to overthrow our own 'big gov'. The Textbooks to which I referred actually said that...the second amendment is ...that we should have the right to overthrow our Gov. should it get "too big". What kind of message is that for our children? Simply ridiculous and in no way related to our history.
