Bosco,

I doubt if the HKMA will be doing anything for the next couple of weeks, letting the market find it's own way.

Who's left to sell? The sellers sold last week.
Who's left to buy? Everyone is waiting for the prices to drop.

I don't see any activity unless the funds want to sell to each other. There may be some attempt at the $HK, but the interest rates are already so high it would have minimal effect.

Everyone will be waiting to see what market reforms are adopted. Some may not wait and cover positions because of the threats on reform. From what I've read we've had a reversal with the HKMA now having the funds in a difficult position.

IMO The interesting market action will come the end of September.

FWIW,
Ron
