Mr. Pink,

A very eloquent reply to a poster in response to one of your previous "somewhat less than eloquent" posts.

I simply would care to add, anyone that "bets the farm", on any one stock, and then involves his children, is not very smart.

And then on margin?

In Auric's words, GMAFB.

I am on margin, but only about 30%, even after the recent correction, and am still nowhere near a margin call. My portfolio presently consists of 11 longs, and 1 short.

I plan to switch some longs VS shorts tomorrow, depending on the market.

Thanks for your input.

Have fun,
Phil

Mr. Pink

I noticed your reference to some reading material to assist one in becoming a better market participant.

I went to Amazon.com and did a search for your first title, Reminiscenses of a Stock Operator by Jesse Livermore.

This is what I found..

amazon.com

Is it one and the same?

Start with Reminiscenses of a Stock Operator by Jesse Livermore

This should be required reading before anyone is allowed to trade.
