If Loral executes their business plan in a timely fashion, they both should be profitable. The 2001's will give investors a better visibility of G*'s earnings--thus, if G* is doing well, you will be better off with the 2001s. If G* is going gangbusters right out of the gate, it won't matter.

Speaking of LEAPS, has anyone seen the excellent drop in the 2001s? I apologize for my enthusiasm for the cheapness they display, but I've been crushed by my 2000s, LOOAFs (despite buying them all at 3 1/2 last year) hit 10+ and I should have dumped 'em, but no, in my young stuper I kept 'em. This hindsight thing is a pain in the ass, I'm not used to being able to look back on decisions that turn out to be stupid. My relative inexperience with the markets I suppose.

Anyway, IMO those 2001s are a steal. Their time value is being almost completely wiped away as they all fall "out of the money" at this current point. IMO, those are the safest bets in this market. LEAPs across the board are having their prices slashed, its almost like K-mart bought the CBOE and is having a clearance sale.

I should have held off my purchase of G* and bought more LEAPS, oh well...
