RE: Except Intel

I guess that AMD has already licensed Slot A to Intel. They have an agreement -- and AMD agreed not to steal Slots from Intel, but I remember nothing about Intel agreeing not to steal slots from AMD. Be nice to find out.

the race between the SLOT 1 and a socket based system seems to have been lost by the slot at least up to 500 Mhz.

Bill - Re: "AMD will be forced to make their alpha slot freely useanble by all others(except intel) to gain adherents. "
