To all - I wonder if the following story will give people like Marc Cabi yet another possible excuse to write up an anti-Qualcomm report. August 31, 1998 NKorea Fires Missile Into Japan Sea Filed at 1:11 a.m. EDT By The Associated Press TOKYO (AP) -- North Korea fired a ballistic missile into the Sea of Japan on Monday, the Japanese Defense Agency said. Quoting unidentified U.S. military officials, the agency said the missile was fired around noon (midnight EDT) and landed in the sea about halfway between North Korea and northwestern Japan. No other information on the incident was immediately available. END. (Perhaps N. Korea was trying to shoot down that escaped weather balloon)
