Steve, it is nearly impossible for THQ to miss estimates. Look how low they are. Then do a ballpark figure for a large NWO reshipment, Quest reorders (#12 in July among all console games), and start checking the shelves when all the new products ship this month. THQI accounts for sales based on games shipped minus a health reserve (9-12%, historically.) You saw my post about all the games coming out in Sept., right? All are high margin PC and Playstation games.

Don't forget THQ's giant reserves, which would make up for any shortfall. Making estimates by a healthy amount is a no-brainer, IMHO.

Seems that the conservative guesses on the Fool right now (before seeing how well BASS does, etc.) are in the mid-thirty cent range (pre-split) but I think .40 is easily reachable.

Btw, look at ebworld.com to see all the games THQ has scheduled for Oct. 2. Don't you think they'd move something up by two days if they were worried about making the quarter?

Regards,
Marc
