Gerald, I am sorry that I am just now seeing your post. I have been out of town. Actually, I believe the percentage of a fatality in the case of a first heart attack is pretty low. The problem is that most people don't realize they are having a heart attack and therefore don't immediately go to a hospital. This is my memory of a article that I have read in the last few weeks, so I will try to pin that down. If memory serves me correctly, this company has about 26 million in short-term assets. The truly exciting development in this story is the fact that there are fifty salesman for Ge Medical Systems that are going to start marketing these scanners. Previously, there were only five salespeople marketing the product for Imatron. ( I don't know what resources Siemen's devoted to these sales.) There is a PR firm that is helping the firm with their PR work. They are very knowledgeable and helpful. I don't have the name and number right here but it is listed on the press releases. If you have any interest in this company, you should contact them. I can't get real concerned about the disclosure you pointed out in the SEC filing, it appeared to me to be standard CYA. The language is almost identical to what the company I used to work for would put in their filings and that company went from 300 million to being sold for 11 billion.
