<<Luke: This is not a hate mail, only your investment track record:>>

Since you had that nice preface, I'll respond. However, you mislabeled my track record.

1. Long Japan (still adding to positions and will long be for a long time; notice that Japan while down slighty is down less than the US and notice the Yen has been rising against the dollar)

2. Long gold (Unch) and the XAU (down 30% from its HIGHS of '98) still adding to these positions as well. Notice all the currency problems I predicted to get worse back in APRIL. There will be more problems.

3. Short the US mkt-- average stock is down 50% to 60%

4. Put LEAPS on DELL-- DELL is UP 50%.... what can I say I ain't batting a 1000, it is diffficult to predict where a mania like DELL will end, but that's why I bought LEAPS.

we'll review these same positions in January of 1999. Again, this week will be your LAST CHANCE to exit this POS.

good luck!
