Aalok K. Shah, an analyst with an independent small-cap stock analysis firm, published a 2-page review on RDRT on 8/31. Anyone out there know what this report says???

todd,

Looks like the WDC qual is actually finished but other delays are delaying announcement. Those "other" delays are unrelated to heads. By the way, FWIW, I still hear persistent rumors of disatisfaction with IBM heads though details continue to be elusive.

I may have a chance to meet with Chuck Hagerty soon (in a group) who is coming to the region. Don't think I will have a chance to ask him direct about IBM head problems, nor do I think he would answer, but I am interested in hearing his take on the overall relationship and trying to get a sense of any cooling or toe-circling. By the way, Kathy Braun will be in the group as well I am told, making a last tour of the region.

I am still more excited about the notion of RDRT working on an advanced head with RDRT.

As long as we are flinging rumors carelessly, I am also hearing some rumblings about an APM/Headway deal, though for the life of me, I cannot imagine who would bankroll such an endeavor in this climate. It would require an outside source IMO as neither company has a lot of cash I understand.

In spite of LK's logical warnings I am still more then intrigued by this one. Darned if my old bones aren't telling me they may pull one out of the fire. Hope the market will give them a break and get me back in. Not yet though. Very nimble timing is sine qua non now.

Best,
Stitch
