If the little guys move their money to Treasuries, then the big guys have to sell stock to cover redemptions, so the other little guys get creamed, and move their money to Treasuries, and down we all go together....< Want to be a mutual fund manager.<g> bet they are sweating big time since they must keep making money for the little investor or lose accounts. You are right that the emotions play a big part of investing. One of the importance of this site as we can research and share our data and thoughts to minimized the emotional side of the equation.
