MM tricks - FGII...& true buying opportunities.

The time to buy FGII was when it was being dumped...Mark, thanks for the play by play - this is classic.... DLJ did the same for EVI a while back - big upgrade the same day insiders dumped... all though; FGII clearly at a point to at least begin nibbling - still way, way oversold - when is Holloway going to step in & support his stock ?

The time to buy VRC & NOI is today - selling off in the face of a small bump upward... smelling a trading opportunity in VRC - if I see big volume - It is THE trade here - looking for a bounce.

CNBC/Stanley Nabi - Oil Analyst says ''oil stocks'' will snap back and he can think of no other sector ...with this kind of upside - will be a leader...''

VRC & NOI looking very, very attractive here... What upside does VRC have here ? hmmmm $7-8 to $32 ?

PSS: picked up VRC @ 7 7/8 on a limit buy - setting another at $6 7/8 ths - in case of a '''dump''; this is simply unbelieveable - someone wants out... & I want in at these prices !

<<The Bear Stearns comments on CNBC set up a sucker's rally this morning.>>

Mark, this has happened with regularity over the past 3 months. If we've learned anything, we've learned not to buy the open.

<<Everyone who wanted to get out is pretty much out.>>

I used to think so, but it's not true. How many people do you think bought last week, trying to trade off the bottom, who will bail in a panic today (or who set stop loss orders)? And with very few buyers, it doesn't take many sellers to push these, or any, stocks down. If people are adding now, they should be looking to hold for the long term, because the short term is still very uncertain.

The good news.

Stanley Nabi, on cnbc, saying the os sector should offer the best profit potential from depressed levels.

DLJ has EVI on its Focus List (per Maria, earlier).
