On Sunday I went to the largest pet store in the country, That Pet Place in Lancaster PA. They had a lot of water and not too many fish. They get fish in the end of the week and have 1/2 off for the weekend. Wasn't much left by the time I got there on Sunday. The prices are good but the fish aren't. They had a few cool odd ball fish but I was looking for apistogrammas. When I called they told me they had 6 or 7 varieties. They had only 4. All of them were overpriced and real bad specimens. The only way to get fish from them for me would be to call Friday and if they got anything I want I have to be there when they open at 10 on Saturday. With no traffic it's 3 hour ride. It took me about 4 1/2 hours each way yesterday. You can't imagine how much corn I drove by. On Saturday I found another local store interested in some of my fish. I'm bringing him about $100 worth of fish on Friday. This will bring my sales up to a whopping $350. Hey, it's a start.
