MB,

Yeah, it looks like people are starting to realize that stocks can actually go down. That realization could cause a substantial drop from here.

Call me a dipper, but I am nibbling. Especially those with no debt, high book value and lots of cash that are gapping down.

Well. MB, it looks like you were totally wrong about tech stocks being overpriced. <vbG> With the Nasdaq down 89, (oops now down 99) it looks like some may be not just overpriced but more like worthless. I wonder if Cramer feels good right about now? He is probably buying more AOL. <G>

FWIW, there are some companies with 20%+ year-over-year growth rates in real earnings and EPS that are trading at 20x projected EPS with little exposure to Asia. Oopps, now they are trading at 18x projected.

Do you have any favorites that you would buy near-term calls on to profit from a snap-back rally? The momentum geeks aren't dead yet so we have to expect a snap-back rally of at least 75+ on the Nasdaq centered in larger cap stocks. And I expect a rally this week. We have fallen to far, to fast, and Abbey is getting ready to pound the table (again).
