You need to get realistic. The Clinton supporters have even attacked Democrats who questioned whether Clinton should stay. Tripp's legal problems with wiretap laws is a side issue. The main issue is that the president engaged in improper office conduct for which he should be fired. Furthermore, since he engaged in lying, covering-up, and utilizing public resources to perpetrate the cover-up, he should be fired and made liable for the legal expenses. That is the bottom line. You can go throw jelly all you like and see if any of it sticks, but the basic issue is that he engaged in conduct for which any employee should be fired. I have no problem with Linda Tripp being prosecuted --- if she broke the law, she should pay the consequences. And I also have no problem with the Clintons being thrown out of office for collecting FBI files or for abusing the office by using the IRS to attack opponents or to attempt to drum up false charges. I have no desire to see a government run by fascists.

<<Don't try to cover for Tripp--she's off-the-charts on the ugly meter and she's got the morality to match >>

And therefore Clinton didn't do anything wrong??? Why are you bringing Tripp, her morality or her motives into this? What difference do they make to the rightness or wrongness of Clinton's actions?
