SUNNYVALE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aug. 31, 1998-- SanDisk Corp. (NASDAQ:SNDK - news) announced
today that Kodak will include an 8MB (megabyte) SanDisk CompactFlash removable ''digital film'' memory card with the sale
of every DC210 Plus Zoom digital camera.

The new Kodak megapixel digital camera, specifically designed to use CompactFlash cards, was introduced today.

Nelson Chan, vice president of marketing at SanDisk, said, ''Kodak's new DC210 Plus digital camera integrates new
improved features that consumers want in a digital camera. As a pioneer of digital film for digital cameras, SanDisk
acknowledges that Kodak's similar pioneering inventiveness in digital imaging is endless and extremely dynamic.''

The Kodak DC210 Plus Zoom features several key improvements over its predecessor, the DC210 Zoom digital camera,
including a 20 percent increase in battery life, faster startup, faster photo capture time, a multi-lingual LCD screen, date stamp
and video out slide show. The DC210 Plus is available now at a suggested list price of $599.

Craig,

I assume you mean a "non-event" rather than an "on-event" . My chief concern was the time delay between the ruling against dismissal several weeks ago and the events of last week.

You speak authoritatively on this subject and I hope that you are correct. In my chats with the company it was mentioned to me that they had already committed alot of their engineering workforce to reverse engineer the Lexar product, so I was taken back to read that more research (evidence) was requested by the judge. Perhaps they mined out the core aspects of the infringement and now are working on the exact details. The case is reportedly in "discovery".

Lexar mave have drawn some blood last week, and with the taste of blood asked for an expedient finish to the law suit. I suspect that there is more to it than that. Legal gesturing, perhaps?
