E-Trade (EGRP) just dropped below its 52 week low on a strong down trend. I just took a short position at 19.

I feel like a dog in at the meat market -- there are so many great opportunities in this market by going short, that I have a hard time choosing.

I likely will cover my short on WAVO soon, and will be looking for other short candidates. The biggest problem has been catching good shorts on an up tick, which is needed to sell short.

Jim, I haven't had a reason to short in the past and although I have provided a number of short candidates to Henry, I did my first personal short last Friday on BBY. Typically it bounced back in my face and only missed a cover by 1/8 (whew!)but doing better today - should be down farther but news probably holding it up. <G>

Not much exciting on the long side except to be in cash. I have one long and one short now in my primary accounts.

Nice going on the shorts - sure wish I could short in my IRA.<G>
