It's like isolating a disease link. Or something like that, only not necessarily with anything wrong with it.

Is it genes, astrology, The Phillippines, or mania. Mania can be good, of course. Not neccessarily anything wrong with it. :o)

Shoes. Hmmm. Put these on. I'll put these on. These are pretty. These are good for that. I have a lot of shoes. Need shoes; can't go barefoot forever. Have to wash your feet before you can get in the pool. There's enough chlorine in there to dissolve a buffalo, but those will need cleaned. And yes, we have a dust cover and no that's not a filter. We don't swim in your shoes, do we?

These fit nicely. Lace these up tight. Slip these on. Don't scuff them. Open toes? Yeesh. Toes shouldn't. Sandals. Yuk. Dirty little things. Thongs are not shoes. Easter shoes. Wedding slippers? Laces snap. Woolworths. Keds. Sneakers. Hi-tops. Waffle-stompers.

Castanets.

Aren't you a little bit disturbed by the fact that after waht, five years!? the Spaghetti-Os were recognizable? Do they contain Oil of Twinkie? Did the BHA, BHT and Polysorbate 80 form a protective crust on the thermos like in a fine bottle of Port?

Is it true, the rumor that I hear that you may have crossed over to the dark side recently?

Penni,

Had strange and violent dreams last night, very unusual. Then got bounced out of bed by an earthquake around 4AM. Not a big one; bottles on the shelf rattled but didn't fall. Turned on CNN and found that the epicenter was the NY stock exchange. Wonder if it had anything to do with the dreams (no, I was not wrestling bears).

Hope the big neighbor (Mt. Pinatubo) stays asleep.

<<I was telling Dan about Jenny last night and he thought it was very funny that Steve lives in the Philippines.>>

Delighted to provide amusement. Most people just think it's weird. I actually came here for the first time in '79, and keep coming back. I think I got addicted to chaos. America is always wonderful for around 3 weeks, then I start thinking we need a coup or a revolution or a volcano or something to wake everybody up. Not that it would do the markets any good...
