Bilow,
Still don't know how can integration be better between storage and motherboard or CPU. Except that DRAM is dirt cheap that a machine can have 1G or 2 G bytes RAM and so storage access can be still slow, but the cables from motherboard to storage always big and clumsy.

It will take around another two years, so I'd be looking for them around 4 years from now.
I think you need to advance your timetable to maybe 2Q 99. I would expect to see various classes of much less expensive NT systems next year (as well as more expensive ones in elaborate enterprise configurations). JMHO...
