Look at some of the other Y2K stocks like VIAS trading today at 6 and
change. It was in the mid-teens a few weeks back. 50% hicky too
just like a ton of other issues. So it could be argued that the
merger is helping support ISLI. I still think it will happen. As I
mentioned earlier, I think MIFGY will test 26 though this is only a
moderate support level. Key support was 32 - 33. Why the focus on
support and technical patterns? That is what is now driving this
correction. Barron's had some interesting articles over the weekend
on this subject. The only buyers are people looking for a trade.
Bottom fishing is still too risky. Anyway, if MIFGY breaks 26 then
the next key support is the 20 - 22 level. Back to VIAS, if I recall
their fundementals when priced at around 14 were better than ISLI at
16. So if VIAS can fall to 6 and change where might ISLI be now
without MIFGY. Obviously, we dont know but I honestly think it could
be lower than 11 and change. I know some to the people on this
thread follow VIAS so some other views on this would be helpful.
Thanks in advance.
