Tom; at some point the Funds borrow money to let people out, rather than sell the stock, in fact many of them have shares lent out ( making interest ) and will at some point call them in , then shorts are forced to cover. But we can and will likely drop more as they are not going to prop the navs up if they are getting a rush of calls to get out. That's why I've got where I like the DIA or SPY, I don't have to take the closing price. WE are very close to a bottom, or a complete melt down. Jim
