I think the biggest driver of all today is good old-fashioned greed. Look at the longer charts, folks - I think at least a good portion of the sales of the last two or three weeks (or even more) are profit-taking on longer-term buys (from back during the May run-up, and that most investors have not crossed over the line into taking losses to put money elsewhere. The cash is accumulating - waiting in the wings to go in and get another round of bargains to go through the cycle again. Could be wrong - JMO. Mr. K.
