Kevin,

Here is an e-mail I sent investor relations with the answer I received back. I wasn't impressed with the answer, they should be buying at these prices. On the other hand, maybe they are a little gun shy about what they say considering how they were sued in 1996. Any comments on this or the previous press release.

"In your second quarter 10-Q it states you have bought back 379k shares as of June 30, 1998. At the current time how far along are you on the 1 million share buyback that was authorized earlier in the year? With the current weakness in the stock, is there any thought of increasing the 1 million authorization? Thank you for your consideration in this matter."

Dear Mr. Wasserbach,
DSP Group's policy is to buy back shares whenever management feels it appropriate. We do not feel impelled to buy shares in unstable and unclear market conditions. We continue to buy shares during this quarter and will report on the actual quantity in the coming 10Q. The comapny will consider the matter of increasing the 1 million shares program, once the current program has been completed.
Regards,
Michael Cohen
