I think $ 47.50 was a huge opportunity. I expect a rebound this week to 60's. We might get more "correction" but I think it will be minor.
Like bp has pointed out- the longs here are longer than weeks and months - more like years. Looking to 2000/01 I'm sure we're sitting on a winner.

ps We could easily close with a gain today - semis have been hammered enough!

MH,

I'm glad you pointed that out. I was reminded that my son called this weekend and while we were shooting the breeze, he told me that about 2 weeks ago he upgraded the memory in his MAC and paid $40/ for each memory module. Anyway, what I found significant was that he told me he went back to buy 2 more and the price had gone up to $170. He was shocked......Interesting that the $170 price point was too high. He told me he will be upgrading next year, but wanted to take advantage of the low memory price while he could. I realize this was one store (large chain), but one might conclude that the semi glut is over. bp
