This market is going beyond my original negative expectations. Looks like 8000 was the signal to those who have been taking a long nap until now. The shorters are making the money today.

We also may be seeing an interesting phenomenon. During the bull market, the NASDAQ lead the market rallies. Then their was a type of decoupling with the DJIA at times leading the market, and at one point in time the S&P 500. Now we are seeing the NASDAQ back again leading the market...to the down side. The NASDAQ has fallen so far over 100 points. This is over a 6% down day. Think about this for a minute. This is the type of number not so long ago one would expect to see the the DJIA, not the NASDAQ.
