Per Art Cashin (sp) of PW, we are following a classic bottom pattern going all the way back to 1929. Apparently they have started with a massive sell off on a Thursday, followed by a somewhat stagnant Friday, followed by a huge sell off on a Monday, followed by a big sell off on Tuesday morning with a sharp mid-day turn around on extremely high volume. We've done all but the Tuesday bit and Art is usually right. He called today on Friday. Soooo, I expect Asia and Europe to tank tonight, and hope to see the pattern to follow through tomorrow. We shall see. sf
