Dow close 7539.07 - NASDAQ close 1499.15 - S&P 500 close 957.53 all at the low for the day. Margin calls and net fund redemptions adding to the panic selling. The declines should continue this evening in Asian markets, and perhaps carry over into tomorrow's NYSE trading.

To all newbie investors, welcome to a bear market.

PH, my short portfolio that was set up on July 21 is now down 39%. And 39 of the 40 stocks are down, I shorted more of the odd one (REFR) today, its turn will come.
