Addi: Actually it's down more. Obviously LSI has taken a far bigger haircut recently, but Corrigan et. al. were telling us something when they said that US based orders were down for their high end chips. The order decline had nothing to do with gate array chips. LSI was telling us that there was a broad based decline staring us straight ahead in the market. For those of us who believed that management was honest, and that the company was not falling apart, it was an excellent time to take prophylactic measures on one's core holdings, and you can be darn sure that I did. Worse yet, this does not yet seem to be the climatic capitulation that one would expect to see at a bottom. But to repeat; it will be the semis that will be the early leaders out of the next recession, and I can think of no better holding than LSI.
