Actually quite a while back I decided to ignore the whole 'short squeeze' question for two reasons - 1. It was not possible to verify the posted 'information' about it on short notice - and 2. I guess I just wasn't all that interested, since I believe that the existence of a short position or the possible squeezing of such a position should have no effect on the long-term progress of the company, on the fundamentals - and it is the fundamental story that I find interesting. But here is one reason why I think that there is not a viable opportunity for profit in the 'short squeeze' story - It is just too heavily promoted. If you have a competent professional 'short-busting' team and you have got all your legal ducks lined up in good order, then why would you need to hype your position on the Internet? Why this crap about an 'exclusive' export permit? Why ignore and obfuscate when presented with the conflicting statements by the company in its SEC filings, as documented by wireless wonk? And - most obvious - why not spend a little more money today picking up shares to get the ol' magic eightball rolling? Those are rhetorical questions, you don't have to answer -g- ...... cheers
